Florence is the Director of People at CFS. She heads a team who is responsible for our human capital strategies, which include recruitment, development, well-being, rewards and employee relations.
Florence brings over 30 years of experience in driving the human resources (HR) agenda for established multinational companies at the regional and global levels. She has led teams in building sound HR practices and programmes that delivered strategic value, built organisational capability, and drove culture change and transformation. She also has extensive experience in leading organisational restructuring and post-merger integration activities.
Florence has worked in various industries including construction, manufacturing, technology, pharmaceutical, retail, logistics and finance. This speaks of her versatility and adaptability. She was conferred the May Day Award by the National Trade Unions Congress (NTUC) for her outstanding contribution in promoting and championing excellent labour management relations. Florence volunteers at sports events and distributes food to the needy in her spare time.
Florence holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and an Honours degree in Social Sciences from the National University of Singapore. She also has a Diploma in Personnel Management from the Singapore Human Resources Institute, where she topped her class and was awarded the Book Prize for Industrial Relations. Florence joined CFS on 1 September 2022.
