Thio Siew Hua is a Managing Director and Head of Equities at Lion Global Investors with over 30 years of experience in the investment industry. She oversees various equity investment teams, as well as the central dealing and cash teams.
Siew Hua has a strong background in research, having spent many years in equity investment research before moving into the fund management industry. Prior to joining Lion Global Investors, Siew Hua was a Director at Tantallon Capital Advisors Pte Ltd, where she managed a long-only absolute return Asia fund. Before that, she was a Managing Director and Head of Asia ex-Japan Equity Management at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Head of Singapore Research at Indosuez W.I. Carr (S).
Currently, Siew Hua is the Chairman of the Investment Committee and a Board Member at the Community Foundation of Singapore. She is also a member of the Investment Committee at the Singapore University of Social Sciences and a member of the International Commission of Financial Affairs for the Order of the Friars Minor.
Siew Hua holds a Master of Science (Economics) and a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Siew Hua joined the board on 1 September 2024. She is the Chair of CFS’s Investment Committee.
