Reading Odyssey by SHINE Children and Youth Services
SHINE Children and Youth Services’ Reading Odyssey program aims to improve literacy skills, confidence, and social mobility for children with reading and learning difficulties, focusing on those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Target Impact:
- To help 70% of participating children to show increased confidence in reading
- Guide 60% of children to achieve measurable improvements in word reading or reading comprehension

“How can we unlock the potential of students struggling with numbers?”
DAS Maths Programme by the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS)
The DAS Maths Programme provides tailored interventions for primary and Secondary One students with dyslexia, dyscalculia, or persistent difficulties in numeracy.
Target Impact:
- Improve numeracy skills for 200 students annually, with 80% achieving better topical test scores
- Enhance students’ academic journey and future opportunities by addressing learning challenges

Home Care Service by Yong-en Care Centre (YCC)
YCC’s Home Care Service ensures that frail and homebound seniors receive necessary medical and nursing care within their homes. It focuses on maintaining physical health, providing post-hospitalisation care, and ensuring medication compliance.
Target Impact:
- Reduce hospital readmissions to less than 30%
- Help seniors age comfortably at home while improving their quality of life

“What if life-saving medications were within reach for those who need them most?”
Rare Disease Fund (RDF) by SingHealth Fund-KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital
As a last-resort financial assistance programme, The Rare Disease Fund (RDF) supports Singapore citizens diagnosed with rare conditions requiring expensive, high-cost medicines to extend their lifespans and improve their quality of life.
Target Impact:
- Ensure that patients with rare diseases receive timely access to high-cost, life-saving medications
- Support patients in managing their rare conditions effectively
Supporting the mental well-being of individuals to effectively navigate life’s challenges. This includes education, research, resilience building and rehabilitation efforts.

“What if trauma in young girls could be met with hope, healing, and education?”
Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre (DRTC) by HCSA Community Services
The Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre provides a safe, supportive environment for teenage girls aged 12 to 16 who have experienced complex trauma from physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.
Target Impact:
- Achieve 100% reintegration of residents back to mainstream schools with improved academic performance and self-confidence
- Equip beneficiaries with emotional regulation skills and coping strategies through structured therapy and counselling

“How can we empower youth to overcome mental health challenges and build a brighter future?”
YouthReach by Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH)
YouthReach provides psychosocial support and recovery programmes for youths aged 12 to 21 dealing with moderate to severe emotional, psychological, and psychiatric issues.
Target Impact:
- Empower youths to develop emotional resilience, improve mental health, and foster self-confidence
- Strengthen social integration by equipping them with life skills, facilitating vocational training, and expanding their support networks
