Community Foundation of Singapore Cookies Policy

The Community Foundation of Singapore (“CFS”, “us”, “we”, “our”) uses cookies on cf.org.sg and our associated microsite, legacygiving.sg (collectively the “Website”) to improve our service to you.

If you access our information or services through our Website, you should be aware that cookies are used. Cookies help us to provide you with a good experience when you use the Websites and also allow us to improve the Website. By continuing to use the Websites, you are agreeing to us placing cookies on your computer.

Cookies are small pieces of text sent by your web browser by a website you visit. A cookie file is stored in your web browser and/or internet-enabled devices and can later be read by a server.

CFS uses two types of cookies on the Website:

  • Performance cookies – we use performance cookies to enhance the performance and user experience of the Website, in order to provide you with a good experience during your visit.
  • Analytical cookies – we use third party analytics tools, which employ these cookies to collect statistical information about the users of the Website. Such information is captured and stored only in aggregated, anonymised form (i.e. we do not identify you personally from such information). This information helps us understand how people use the Website and to improve its contents and layout.
    • You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies or notify you when a cookie is sent. Each browser is different so check the “Help” menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.

Please note that some cookies on the Website may be managed by third parties, including, for example, cookies for web traffic analysis services and cookies that let us serve you content such as videos and social media on the Website. You should refer to such third parties’ own cookie and privacy policies for information about how they may use your information.

You can block cookies by activating the setting within your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of some or all cookies. Please visit the “Help” section of your web browser for more information. Alternatively, you can visit www.allaboutcookies.org which provides general information about cookies and how you can manage cookies on your computer.

You may withdraw your agreement at any time. To do this, you will need to delete your cookies using your browser settings for each browser you use. For more information about how to do this, please visit the “Help” section of your web browser. Please note, however, that if you delete cookies or block some or all of them, certain functions and pages on the Website may not work as expected.
