Ride-hailing company Gojek recently launched GoHeroes, an initiative to ensure that healthcare workers can travel to and from their workplaces safely and comfortably.
As part of GoHeroes, Gojek has partnered with the Sayang Sayang Fund and public hospitals in Singapore to provide $10 Gojek ride vouchers over a period of three months.
These vouchers will be distributed to hospital employees as well as voluntary healthcare providers who have stepped up to provide home care or nursing services during this period.
To support GoHeroes, thousands of Gojek driver-partners have pledged their commitment to ensure that healthcare workers can continue to commute safely and comfortably.
We want to play our part to support healthcare workers, everyday heroes who are on the frontlines keeping Singapore well and safe,” says Lien Choong Luen, General Manager of Gojek Singapore. “We are pleased to partner with the Sayang Sayang Fund and the Community Foundation of Singapore to facilitate this. During this period, Gojek’s role has become more crucial than ever – to keep Singapore moving safely. We will continue to work with partners to look at more ways to support our frontline heroes.
